How to Prepare For SSC JE Paper 1 2020?

SSC JE is a technical exam therefore candidates should not give any emphasis to non-technical subjects. Focus should be given on technical subject. The exam pattern of SSC JE comprises of two tiers.

SSC JE (Junior Engineer) Tier I includes: 

Tier I comprises of three sections these are:
  1. General Intelligence and Reasoning
  2. General Awareness
  3. General Engineering (Civil & Structural) or General Engineering (Electrical) or General Engineering (Mechanical)
SSC JE TIER II comprises of 2 hours exam Candidates have to attempt any of the following parts chosen by the respective candidate depending upon its stream
  1. Part-A (Civil Engineering & Structural Engineering)
  2. Part-B (Electrical Engineering)
  3. Part-C (Mechanical Engineering)
In this exam technical subjects are given more weight age which makes it a challenging exam to qualify.

In case you are targeting SSC JE 2020 EXAM there are some tips to be followed while doing exam preparation.

1. GA section should be given more time and attention. Buy the most relevant and trusted study material to study for the exam. 

2. The number of aspirants for SSC JE is limited because it is open to engineering graduates. Amongst all the branches civil engineers have the utmost number of seats. Therefore if you focus on your stream which carries 100 marks you will be able ace with high score.

3. SSC JE aptitude is easier than any other SSC exam. Engineers have an inborn aptitude and they tend to score high in this section. Hence practice on the latest exam pattern will make them proficient enough to score high in reasoning section. Those who are selected in SSC JE generally get 40–45 questions correct in the aptitude section out of 50. 

4. Candidates can prepare for state engineering services exams along with SSC JE preparation as they have similar pattern and question types. Therefore practice as much as you can on all the three sections so that you can take other engineering based government job exams.
