1. An ideal study material for SSC JE Exam is previous year question papers. It is generally observed that SSC JE mains exam questions are repetitive in nature. Hence preparation should be focused mainly on the previous year questions. Attempt them effectively and revise them again and again. Identify the significant questions which are being asked continually. Do not consult too many books as you will feel less positive after covering little from each book.

2. For design or structural based subjects it is advisable to prepare a separate notebook. Take every topic methodically and practice them a lot. Try to put up all the dissimilarity in one single question that may be possible every topic separately. For each topic attempt one or two questions to understand the entire design portion for that topic. Revise this every day so that the design step gets framed in your brain.

Always write whatever you know, and then check solved answers and tries to write in your words again. Don’t make separate notes for them as theoretical questions portion is less in the mains exam.

4. Exam comprises of 300 marks in SSC JE Paper 2 which needs to be completed in 2 hours. Hence speed plays a crucial role in it. Try solving previous year questions by putting a time constraint to know your speed and enhance in the next attempt.

5. Accuracy is another significant tool that enhances the performance of the exam. Improve accuracy by closely identifying your errors in the previous attempts and revise the topics again. Take proper doubt sessions to master them to the accuracy level.

Follow these tips systematically and dedicate proper time to studies to learn and understand the concepts and formulae of your stream. Paper 2 demands more knowledge in an expressive way. You have to write descriptive answers which is only possible if you revise the topics as many times as you can follow by subsequent practice tests.
